What is Onsite Injury Prevention?

It's applying an Athletic Therapist's diverse knowledge including behavioural changes, body mechanics and ergonomics to decrease the risk of injury in the workplace. Using a comprehensive and individualized approach, Work Wise applies knowledge and experience to promote safe work practices and prevent workplace injuries. While onsite Work Wise will observe, identify and evaluate all the physical demands of a task and provide solutions or alternatives to help decrease risk of physical harm. Along with individualized job coaching, educational exercise programs are provided to help with all musculoskeletal and preexisting conditions which may include non work related injuries, thereby reducing the risk for injury in the workplace.
